heat-sealed with a food safe finish.
This rolling pin is constructed of 3 pieces of wood. Two sections
of Cherry are cut with a taper, and a piece of Walnut is laminated in
between. The taper on the Cherry causes the Walnut to appear to 'spiral'
or 'twist' along it's length. Look at the top picture to see what
I mean.

The two tapered sections of
Cherry are cut from a single block of wood, and match up perfectly
in grain and color. Gwyn did an outstanding job turning this one.
This rolling pin is heavy and dense, and will last
a lifetime.
