The front cover of this wooden photo album is made of African Padauk,
which is a striking orange color. This particular one is a softer,
subdued color.

back cover is Hard Maple, also
known as Rock or Sugar Maple.
Solid brass binding posts accept any standard 3-hole sheets.
Here is a closer look at the binding detail. The center strip is removed to allow for the pages that can be added. The other 2 Padauk strips are left in place to "sandwich" the pages between the top and bottom cover. If more pages are added, the strips can be removed to allow for them, or only a center strip can be used with pages on either side. Instruction sheet included.
